Paulette Inez Gray is a Pro Bono Coordinator at Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc. (ICLS).  Before ICLS, she was the CEO of GRAY LEGAL and handled cases as a solo practitioner in the areas of criminal defense, probate, and personal injury. Prior to starting her law practice, she served as a Deputy Public Defender IV with the Law Offices of the San Bernardino County Public Defender.  In her role as a DPD, she served as a voice for the voiceless.  Additionally, in 2019, Ms. Gray began serving as a Judge Pro Tem for Los Angeles and Riverside counties presiding over traffic, family law, and criminal calendars.  In 2008 after passing the Bar Exam, Ms. Gray opened her law practice, part-time, and handled civil cases.

She is a dean’s list graduate of the University of Los Angeles, School of Law and CALI award recipient in Employment Law, and has been practicing law for over fourteen years.  Ms. Gray has been a dedicated servant in the Inland Empire and has been a member of the Richard T. Fields Bar Association since 2014 and served as the association’s President from 2015-2016.  She also served on the State Bar of California Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services. She has served as Chairperson and committee member on several committees throughout her career.

Ms. Gray earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles.  In August of 2023, she completed her master's degree in Dispute Resolution at the renowned Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.  She was born and raised in Pasadena, California.
